Please do not bother telling me that I have to go to class. I have other things to do! I am sure my fellow students do too! Everything we need to know is in the book anyway, right? Why can't we just learn by book and CD-ROM?
10. Study, read, and/or work on projects for another class.
9. Send jokes via E-mail.
8. Talk to my new, large, grass-chewing neighbors.
7. Talk to my very "intellectual" neighbors (the non-grass chewing variety) about
cow breeding.
6. Complain that I have way too many things to do for my classes and how there is no
way that I will be able to accomplish all of these things by the end of the semester.
Therefore, I could not possibly make time to go to class.
5. Dance merengue with my cats.
4. Take a catnap.
3. Watch my cats take a catnap.
2. Write top ten lists about better things I have to do than go to class.
And the number one "better thing I have to do than go to class" is....
1. Try to imagine what those poor students might be doing in the class that I'm
missing, while I'm sitting on the couch watching TV and munching on some chips,
feeling absolutely no guilt whatsoever....
